چکیده

As Earth’s climate changes, individual nations must develop adaptation plans to respond increasing or new risks. This study focuses on changing flood risk in England, UK, and examines the policy framework actions that underpin England’s from a management (FRM) perspective. Specifically, projections fed into UK’s Climate Change Risk Assessment were analysed alongside newly developed FRM portfolios modified identify potential of different measures reduce Expected Annual Damages (EAD). The key findings indicate that: range EAD for all sources combined is projected increase by 18–160% 2080s depending change, population growth assumptions applied; adopting an enhanced approach presents opportunity manage much driven change risk, particularly river flooding; coastal shows greatest relative present day; surface water flooding will become increasingly more significant source risk. Interpretation results context how greater coordination integration managers interventions required improve planning.

A flood risk projection for Soleimantangeh Dam against future climate change

A sensitivity analysis of the flood safety of Solaimantangeh dam using a regional climate change simulation is presented. Based on the output of the CCSM (Community Climate Change System Model) general circulation model, the NIRCM (North of Iran Regional Climate Model) computes regional scale output with 50 km spatial resolution and 21 vertical layers. Using the SRES (Special Report Emission Sc...
